摘要
Single-switch resonant inverters are widely used due to their simple circuit topology and low cost, and Class E inverter is the most widely used topology among them. However, the output sensitivity of Class E inverter limits the applications. This paper aims at optimizing the design process of single-switch resonant converters by frequency-based extended impedance method (EIM), and finding the design points which make the total harmonic distortion (THD) of the waveforms smaller. After optimization, the electromagnetic interference on the output side would be reduced and the output waveforms would be more sinusoidal.
