Laser glasses with extremal strength and thermo-optical properties

The criteria-characteristics of glasses for active and passive laser components in respect to their thermomechanical, beam strength, and thermo-optical properties are analyzed. The perspectives and the ways of developing glasses with extremal strength and thermo-optical properties are considered. The parameters of new glasses are presented.
