摘要
The synergistic combination of photocatalysis and micellar catalysis has gained increasing attention as a promising tool for sustainable organic synthesis. Thanks to the compartmentalization of the reacting species and the presence of permeable interfaces, it provides a unique platform for exploring molecular interactions and light-induced processes. In this chapter, we present the available photomicellar methods categorized by the type of reaction they enable. The reader will learn about early redox systems and pioneering work on pollutant remediation. In addition, modern synthetic applications, such as cross-coupling reactions, C-alkylation, arylation, sulfonylation, oxidation, and N-dealkylation reactions, are described.
