Review on methods for wavefront reconstruction from pyramid wavefront sensor data

Recently, the popularity of pyramid wavefront sensors (PWFS) has grown in the astronomical adaptive optics (AO) community due to their advantages compared to other types of wavefront sensors. The device is already utilized on existing telescope systems, such as the Large Binocular Telescope (LBT),
