Objective To evaluate the clinical effects of the low pulpotomy on treating pulpitis of primary molars.Methods 212 cases of primary molars were treated with direct pulp capping (Ca(OH) 2) after low pulpotomy and the other 126 were treated after half devitalization with FC.Results 6 months to 3 years later, both methods achieved satisfactory effects.Conclusion The low pulpotomy was an effective method for treating pulpitis of primary molars.
