Investigation Analysis and Solutions on Abnormal Wear of Brake Discs on Guangzhou Metro Line 4 Vehicles

In this paper,Investigation analysis and solutions to abnormal wear of brake discs on Guangzhou Metro Line 4 vehicles have been done.Based on the braking characteristics of the vehicle,the reasons of abnormal wear such as brake control strategy,hardness of the brake disc,brake disc thermal stress have been discussed,and the corresponding measures have been made,their result is very good.It has a great significance of the extension of the life cycle and lower maintenance costs of the brake disc.
