Aiming to present situation and existent problem in calculation of friction factor,put forward a new method of calculating friction factor by Microsoft Excel 2000.In comparison with the conventional procedure of using the Moody chart or computer design program,this method can miss the trouble in graphics and the complex in design program,and it can raise the work efficiency and calculation accuracy.
