On Substances Sadness Concept in Japanese Play Songs

Many scholars in China and Japan have studied the substances sadness concept from different perspectives.The substance sadness can be divided into three levels,moving people,moving society and moving nature.Through the analysis of the play songs since 1924,we can find that different periods put emphasis on different levels and the emotions reflected are different either.
