Clinical Observation of Sequential Application of Assist Control Ventilation and Pressure Support Ventilation on the Patients with Severe Pulmonary Heart Disease Complicated with Respiratory Failure

Objective: To explore the effect of sequential application of sequential application of assist control ventilation and pressure support ventilation on the patients with severe pulmonary heart disease complicated with respiratory failure.Methods: 287 cases with severe pulmonary heart disease patients complicated with respiratory failure were selected and given sequential application of assist control ventilation and pressure support ventilation.the effect of ventilation was observed in the patients.Results: PaCO 2,PaO 2,pH values after 2 hours of pressure support ventilation compared with those before mechanical ventilation,the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).the PaCO 2 after 2 hours of pressure support ventilation is higher than that after assist control ventilation,and the pH value is lower than that after assist control ventilation(P 0.05);peak airway pressure and heart rate after 2 hours of pressure support ventilation were lower than those pressure support ventilation(P 0.05).Conclusions: Assist control ventilation can effectively improve respiratory symptoms of the patients with pulmonary heart disease complicated with respiratory failure,and then the pressure support ventilation which was given meet the respiratory physiological needs.
