Applied Research of Reverse Osmosis Membrane on Advanced Purifying of Drinking Water in Decentralized Rural Area

Based on reverse osmosis membrane technology,three set of pilot plants which combine the techniques of UF,MF,sand filtration,AC adsorption and UV sterilization are designed and installed to purify the drinking water from different drinking-water sources such as tap water,well water and water from river.The running data shows that the pilot plants have good effect on the treatments of indices such as organic substances,microorganism,color,smell,odor and the residual chloride as well.The results of the research provide a better alternative technique scheme for resolving the problems of safe drinking water in decentralized rural area.
