An Onboard VLR Database Management Method for LEO Satellite Systems

In low earth orbit(LEO) satellite systems,oversea users need to inquire visit location registers(VLRs) at inland FESs,which causes long distance signaling cost.In view of the problem,an onboard VLR database management method is proposed for LEO satellite systems.Simulation in a certain LEO satellite system shows that it greatly improves the performance of location management.
