Ultrasonic Extraction and Determination of Polysaccharide in Radix Codonopsis

[Objective]To extract the polysaccharide and measure the polysaccharide content in Radix Codonopsis pilosulae.[Method]The polysaccharide was obtained with the water extraction and alcohol precipitation method,and the polysaccharide content of the extraction was measured with the Phenol-sulfuric acid method.[Result]The polysaccharide content in Radix Codonopsis pilosulae was 30.49%,the rate of recovery was 99.24%,and RSD was 2.32%(n =6).[Conclution]Polysaccharide content of Radix Codonopsis pilosulae in Gansu was high,and it has higher value of development and utilization.Ultrasonic extraction was an effective method of polysaccharide extract.
