Study of Electrolysis in Tannery Wastewater Treatment

The quality of tannery wastewater was analyzed aiming at the characteristics of tannery wastewater such as high pollution concentration and small water volume,electrolysis was adopt as its major technique for the treatment.The results showed that electrolysis’s pretreatment could realize COD and SS removal rates 67% and 89% respectively.Along with the biological contact oxidation,the quality of the treated water could meet the local standard of wastewater discharge.
