Cotton fabrics are grafted by monochlorotriazinyl-β-cyclodextrin (MCT-β-CD) and β-cyclodextrin is fixed permanently on the cotton fabrics to prepare fragrant fabric. The factors affecting the grafting of MCT-β-CD into the cotton fabric are studied. The optimum grafting procedure is determined by orthogonal experiment. The wash fastness of the MCT-β-CD grafted fabric is tested. The results of experiments show that cotton fabric finished by MCT-β-CD has high grafting ratio and water fastness.
