The Role of Ecotourism in Sustainable Development of the Country

Ecotourism, as a subset of the broader tourism industry, has gained attention as a sustainable approach to travel that promotes conservation and benefits local communities. This paper examines the role of ecotourism in the sustainable development of a country, focusing on its economic, environmental and socio-cultural impacts. By integrating the principles of sustainability into tourism practices, ecotourism contributes to the preservation of natural and cultural heritage while strengthening the livelihoods of local people.
