摘要
Abstract Photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS), with the advantages of high sensitivity, extensive dynamic range, high selectivity, and nondestructive, has become one of the research hotspots in multigas detection. This review aims to discuss the latest advancements in PAS for multicomponent gas detection. The key elements of the PAS technique available to support multigas detection, namely as the optical source, and the recent developments in detection methods are presented. The different optical source‐based experimental systems such as broadband light sources and various lasers are reported, and related multigas modulation methods and the performances are analyzed. Finally, in terms of the characteristics of selectivity, sensitivity, and miniaturization, we discuss the advantages and limitations of these different multicomponent trace gas PAS techniques towards practical application.
