Divergent catalytic behaviors of assembled organogold(i) clusters derived from enyne cyclization

We achieve a dicarbanion-centered Au 4 cluster and three assembled Au 11 (net-like), Au 28 (dumbbell-like), Au 14 (closed) clusters. Spectral monitoring, kinetic and theoretical investigations reveal four structure-dependent distinct catalytic pathways.
