[Ph 3 C][B(C 6 F 5 ) 4 ]-catalyzed aza-Michael-type reaction of vinylpyridines with primary/secondary amines

Aza-Michael-type reaction of vinylpyridines with 1° and 2° amines catalyzed by easily available and non-metal catalyst [Ph 3 C][B(C 6 F 5 ) 4 ] has been developed. This is a highly atom-economic method to prepare amine derivatives bearing pyridyl moieties.
