摘要
A high gain low sidelobe shaped dielectric lens for wind profile radar is proposed in this paper. This lens antenna includes the feed (dielectric rod antenna) and shaped dielectric lens. In order to feed the lens, a robust microstrip probe excited is proposed. The simulation results show that in the K band the reflection coefficient is below -10 dB, and the radiation efficiency is above about 90%. The maximum gain of the antenna is 35 dBi, and the sidelobe is below -27 dB. This antenna is easy to made, low cost, and has broad application prospects for Millimeter Wave wind profile radar.
