摘要
Due to the advantages of molten salt, such as high temperature, weak solvation, isolation of water and oxygen, and dissolution of specific bare anions, some special MXene materials that cannot be synthesized in conventional aqueous solutions can be synthesized by molten salt. In this chapter, the latest progress in the preparation of new MXene materials by molten salt as an oxidation etching agent or solvent is reviewed, and the mechanism of structural modulation of MAX and MXene materials is discussed. At the same time, the future development direction and main challenges of the molten salt method are also prospected.
