Nano-iron and nano-iron oxide powders are widely used in magnetism recording, gas-sensitive component, light absorbing and high efficient catalyst domains. Recently, the nano-powder fabricating technology has been greatly enhanced, and the applications of nano-iron and nano-iron oxide powders have been continuously increased. In the present paper the methods and technology progresses of fabricating nano-iron and nano-iron oxide powders as well as comparisons of physical features of nano-powders have been presented.
