Simplification Continuous Analytical Method of Load Transmission on Horizontal Arch of the Round Arch Dam

To surmount the complex nature of traditional methods of round arch dam calculation, a simplification continuous analytical method of load transmission on horizontal arch of the dam has been put forward by the principle of mechanics and the integral calculus. The basic regularity of horizontal arch supporting force attenuation of the round arch dam has been discovered, which provides an effective basis for optimization design of arch dam in theory.
