Ceneral situation in dephosphorization of manganese alloys at home and abroad is introduced,The forms of phosphor existiug in the ferromanganese is researched by means of X-Ray and scanning electron microscopy.It is cons- idered that the mixture of CaO-CaCl_2-manganese ore is a better dephosphoriz- ing agent for blast furnace ferromanganese.The degree of dephosphorization can reached to 20.45-35,55%with the dephosphorizing agent guantity correspon- ding to 10-20%of the ferromanganese melt by weight and stirring time of 5 minutes at 1420℃
