Toxicity Determination and Field Control Effects of Different Fungicides to Yam Anthracnose

The paper aims to select effective chemicals to control yam anthracnose.[Methods] The inhibitory activity of eleven fungicides against yam anthracnose were determined by the mycelial growth rate test,field trials of 5 fungicides against anthracnose were also conducted.[Results] The results indicated in laboratory that prochloraz,flusilazole,pyraclostrobin,propiconazole and difenoconazole showed higher effective to the anthracnose.Their EC50 values were 0.024?9,0.037?8,0.040?6,0.394?1 and 1.281?2 mg/L,respectively.The results of field trials indicated that prochloraz exhibited high control effect with conrol of 85.13%.[Conclusions] These studies provided the basis for mixes and controlling yam anthracnose.
