Clinical analysis on 48 cases of heatstroke

Objective To analyze clinical experience in treatment of heatstroke.Methods The clinical data of treatment in 48 cases of heatstroke were retrospectively reviewed and analyzed . Among them, 16 cases were suffered with aural heatstroke, 27 cases with mild heatstroke and 5 with severe heatstroke.Results 46 cases(95.8%) of them were cured, and 2 cases(4.2%) associated with sequelae.Conclusion The heatstroke could get better effectiveness when they were treated timely and properly with comprehensive therapy including rapid and effective lowering of body temperature, mass fluid replacement, supportive measures for maintaining organ function.
