On the Satire in Swift's Poem:Verses on the Death of Dr.Swift

Jonathan Swift is a great English poet as well as a satirist in18th century.This paper,through analyzing some stanzas of the poet's long poem,Verses on the Death of Dr.Swift,tries to trace his satire on the frailty of human being and other vices of the society of his age.
