Meshless Methods in Numerical Analysis for Engineering

The meshless method is a newer numerical method in recent years, no elements are needed, only nodal information is used.The process and basic idea of meshless method are stated in this paper.The features of some major meshless methods are analyzed.Meshless methods show high accuracy by two numerical examples. Finally the prospect about meshless method is made.
