摘要
Low-frequency acoustic noise has been a serious environmental problem to nearby communities. Such noise usually has a strong energy and its source requires an opening space, so the traditional method of mitigation like constructing barriers or shelters may not be acceptable. We propose a corrugated structure to mitigate the propagation of such acoustic wave along the ground surface. By digging the ground into concentric trenches and elaborately designing their depth and width, an artificially soft surface can be formed to release the acoustic pressure. We develop a numerical simulation for the structure's acoustic feature by treating its geometry as a body of revolution (BOR) and its effectiveness has been verified.
