Ubbelohde viscosity measurement and gel permeation chromatography/refractive index/18-angle laser light scattering(GPC/RI/MALLS) were used to inspect the effect of concentration(0.02%~0.1%) on konjac glucomannan (KGM) solution behavior. The experiment measured the viscosity, molar mass, polydispersity, root mean square radius of gyration, molecular conformation changes respectively in the different concentration. The results showed that: the values of viscosity increased exponentially with the increase of concentration and the concentration effect of inflection was 0.06%. The molar mass, polydispersity, root mean square radius of gyration, molecular conformation enjoyed rising as well. The molecular conformation was from random coil to globular. When the concentration was greater than 0.06%, the molecular conformation was from globular to random coil.
