The Study Apoptosis of Hepatocelluler Cancer Cells Induced by Taxol

Objective To study the effects of Taxol on hepatocelluler cancer cells in growthinhibiting and induction of apoptosis.Methods The growthinhibiting of hepatocelluler cancer cells in vitro were measured by MTT assy.The apoptosis of hepatocelluler cancer cells were studied by Ruishi method,fluorescent microscopy,electronic microscopy,flow ccytometry and TUNEL method after treatment with Taxol.Results The results showed Taxol had a remarkable growthinhibiting on hepatocelluler cancer cells.The IC 50 of Taxol SMMC 7721 were 21.65nmol/L.After expose to Taxol hepatocelluler cancer cells presented some morphologic features of apoptosis,including cell shrinkage,nuclear condensation,DNA fragmentation and formation of apoptotic bodies.S phase and G 2/M phase DNA content increased and a typical subdiploid peak before G 0/G 1 phase were observed by flow cytometry.Along with drugs increased and prolonged,the apoptosis of hepatocelluler cancer cells were raised after treatment with Taxol.Conclusions Taxol have obvious effects of grothinhibiting on hepatocelluler cancer cells and can induce apoptosis of hepatocelluler cancer cells.
