Objective To investigate the clinical effects of chemotherapy and effect of paclitaxel and cisplatin in treatment of patients with early bulky cervical cancer. Methods Shangqiu the First People's Hospital from May 2009 to October 2012 were treated 29 cases of patients with early bulky cervical cancer,before surgery on patients taking paclitaxel and cisplatin chemotherapy,after chemotherapy,according to the patients' condition we used full implementation of the uterus resection or partial resection,concurrent pelvic lymph node dissection,the clinical effect was observed in all patients after surgery. Results The total effective rate of postoperative was 82. 76%. Among them,the pathologic complete remission in 3 patients; partial remission in 21 cases. Conclusion Bulky cervical cancer has larger mass,surgical difficulty,by preoperative chemotherapy can shrink the tumor and facilitate surgery,also improve the curative effect.
