摘要
To address the critical challenges of low transfer yield and complex processes hindering the commercialization of Micro‐LED display technology, this study focuses on the core material in the direct laser transfer process‐the receiving tape. The effects of receiving tape formulation (mass ratios of TPE to thickening resin and petroleum resin), thickness, and laser process parameters on the receiving performance of blue GaN Micro‐LEDs were systematically investigated. For the ultra‐thin tape with a thickness of 3.5 μm, the optimal transfer performance was achieved when the tape formulation was in a mass ratio of TPE:thickening resin:petroleum resin = 1:3:0.8, combined with a laser energy density of 1150 mJ/cm² and a gap of 80 μm between the chip‐on‐wafer (COW) and the substrate. This research validates the feasibility of the direct laser transfer process and provides technical support for improving Micro‐LED transfer yield and advancing its commercialization.
