Does restoration pay off? A three-level meta-analysis of perceived restorativeness, visitor well-being, satisfaction, and loyalty in tourism and leisure settings

Retrospective registration of a systematic review and three-level meta-analysis. The review synthesises correlations between perceived restorativeness (Attention Restoration Theory) and visitor well-being, satisfaction and loyalty in tourism and leisure settings, with restorative outcomes as a secondary outcome. Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus were searched on 10 October 2026. This registration was made after data extraction and analysis had been completed; it documents the procedures as conducted and is not a preregistration.
