. In conclusion, this study demonstrated that BA pretreatment potentiated the probiotic efficacy of AKK to a certain extent, generating a synergistic "diet-microbe symbiont" and providing a novel dietary approach to alleviate metabolic syndrome through targeted modulation of the gut microbiota.
