摘要
This article is dedicated to the study of cardiotoxicity syndrome in doxorubicin-induced rat models. Cardiotoxicity is a significant side effect of the chemotherapy drug doxorubicin, which is widely used to treat various types of cancer. However, its toxic effect on heart muscle limits its therapeutic potential and requires further investigation. The paper presents the results of experiments on rats that study changes in the structure and function of the heart after the administration of doxorubicin. Evaluation includes morphological changes in the myocardium, as well as changes in cardiac markers such as troponin and creatine kinase. The molecular mechanisms underlying cardiotoxicity, including oxidative stress, inflammation, and apoptosis of cardiomyocytes, are also discussed. The conclusions of the study are significant for the development of new therapeutic strategies aimed at reducing cardiotoxicity and improving the safety of doxorubicin use in clinical practice. The review uses information on the topic from publications based on the PubMed and Google Scholar databases, with a coverage depth of 5 years.
