Research On Intelligent Detection of Sulfur Hexafluoride Gas Leakage in Confined Spaces

SF 6 gas has excellent electronegativity, so it is widely used in electrical insulation, but SF 6 gas can cause serious safety hazards due to leakage, so timely detection of leaking gas is of great significance to the safe operation of power equipment. Nowadays, the efficiency of SF 6 gas leakage detection is low, especially in complex environments where it is difficult to perform real-time detection. Therefore, this paper proposes an intelligent SF 6 gas detection method based on image recognition, and compares it with other 2 mainstream detection models. The results show that the detection accuracy of this method is better than that of GMM and Faster R-CNN models, and the detection accuracy can reach more than 88%.
