Calculation of load-carrying capacity and experiment research on seismic behavior of mid - rise shear wall with concealed bracing

On the basis of experimental research on the seismic behavior of two one - third scale mod- els of mid-rise shear walls, the seis mic behaviors of two models were analyzed. The seismic behav- ior of the mode with concealed bracing was compared with that of the mode without concealed bracing. Load-carrying capacity of the mode with concealed bracing was calculated. Experimental re- sults agree well with the values calculated.
