Research on the Anti-clogging Performance of Emitters with Different Water Qualities

Research is done on the situation of clogging,discharge of the emitter,and the silt content and diameter composition deposited in four drip irrigation tubes or tapes under the condition of drip irrigation with silt content water.Results demonstrate that after 11 irrigation experiments,under D120 water quality clogging of drip irrigation tubes or tapes is better than those of S120.At the same time,irrigation experiments,the number and location of clogging emitters are the same between four drip irrigation tubes or tapes,under S100 and D75 water quality.The anti-clogging performance of drip irrigation tubes or tapes under D75 water quality is better than those of S100.In the first 60 m of drip irrigation tubes or tapes a little sand is deposited,but at 70~90 m sand deposition increases.The maximum sand diameter D50 deposited in the drip irrigation tubes or tapes appear at 60~90 m.
