The Changes of Lung Function In 40 Cases COPD before and after Three Months Tiotropium Bromide Inhalation Checked by Impulse Osillometry

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of three months tiotropium bromide inhalation in the treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),studied the change of lung function before and after inhalation by using impulse osillometry (IOS) and conventional ventilation function tests.Method:40 COPD patients all received tiotropium bromide inhalation three months.Impulse osillometry and conventional ventilation function tests were checked before and after inhalation.Result:Conventional ventilation function tests showed there was not signifcant difference;the IOS showed:indexes had improved,especially R5-R20,there were signifcant different.Conclusion:IOS can show the improvement of lung function in the COPD patients with tiotropium bromide inhalation at early stage.
