The Clinical Applied Study of ~(99)mTc-TRODAT-1 Brain Dopamine Transporters SPECT Imaging

Objective] to study the clinical application value of 99mTc TRODAT 1 brain dopamine transporters (DAT) SPECT imaging. 25 patients with Parkinson′ s disease , 12 age mat ched healthy control subjects, and 18 age matched patients with Parkinson′ s syndrome were selected. SPECT scans were performed 3h after the intravenous injection of 740MBq 99mTc TRODAT 1.Striatum specific uptake of 99mTc TRODAT 1 was calculated according to the ratio of dopamine transporters uptake in striatum(ST) and cerebellum(CB). The ratios of ST/CB for the right and the left were 1.57± 0.17 and 1.61± 0.14 in healthy controls,1.03± 0.28 and 1.02± 0.30 in age matched patients with Parkinson′ s disease, and 1.55± 0.16 and 1.56± 0.18 in age matched patients with Parkinson′ s disease syndrome, respectively. There were significant differences between Parkinson′ s disease group and the normal control and Parkinson′ s syndrome group.[ Conclusion] 99mTc TRODAT 1 dopamine transporters SPECT has clinical application values in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of Parkinson′ s disease.
