Preparation and Characterization of Poly(vinyl alcohol)/Graphene Oxide Nanocomposite

Graphene oxide was one of the hottest inorganic layer materials recently,which had the characteristies of low-cost,easy got and many excellent physical and chemical properties to be an excellent filler of nano-composite materials.The graphene oxide was prepared by modified Hummers'method,and the polyvinyl alcohol/graphene oxide nanocomposite was prepared by ultrasonic dispersion method.Composite superficial morphology and microstructure were characterized by FT-IR,XRD,and SEM.The result showed that graphene oxide nano-sheets dispersed in the polymer uniformly.This method can be used for a variety of water-soluble synthetic polymer.
