Objective To evaluate the changes of anterior teeth alveolar height before and after treatment in adult periodontal subjects,and to provide the clinical reference for treating adult periodontal patients.Methods Ten adult periodontal subjects were selected. Every patient took a laminography of jow before and after the treatment, and the changes of anterior teeth alveolar height were evaluated. All data were analyzed by SPSS software.Results The alveolar height of anterior teeth from canine to canine decreased, but it didn't show significantly difference after treatment.Conclusion The adult periodontal patients for orthodontic treatment have to be reinforced the oral hygiene and treated the periodontopathy in time. It can reduce the bone loss by using light force and the curative effect may be more satisfied.
