Al_2O_(3p)/Cu composites was prepared by powder metallurgy method.The effects of Al_2O_3 contents and rotating speeds on wear resistance and friction coefficient of the composites were study.The results show that the wear mass decreased and then increased with increase of Al_2O_3 content.The wear resistance was best when volume fraction of Al_2O_3 was 15%.Wear mass and friction coefficient raised and then decreased with increase of rotating speed.The wear was most serious and the friction coefficient was biggest when rotating speed was 400 r·min~(-1). Wear mechanism mainly was adhesive wear and abrasive wear.
