Maintenance of the Lead-acid Battery Used in Electric Bicycle

To improve the life-span of lead-acid batteries,besides the improvement of production technology, maintenance and repair of battery are also very important.Effective battery maintenance and repair methods will help extend battery life-span.Operating principles and life-span definition of the lead-acid battery which are used in electric bicycle are formulated in this paper.Also,issues about the battery charge and discharge process are analyzed.Furthermore,a method which could extend the life-span of electric bicycle battery is given in the paper. We also introduce some maintenance methods and the usage of maintenance equipments for lead-acid batteries.
