Study of the Relationship between Smoking and the Bladder Cancer

Objective: To explore the relationship between smoking and the bladder cancer in the male.Methods: Case-control study was made in 96 patients and 96 healthy people.Results: Cigarette smoking was associated with a statistically significant increase in the bladder cancer risk(OR = 2.71).The risk of bladder cancer increased with the increase in the number of the cigarette smoked per day,advance in smoking age as well as depth in smoking degree.Conclusion: Smoking is the risk of bladder cancer.
