Reseach and Application of Special Bacteriophage of Ralstonia solanacearum

The prevention and treatment of bacterial wilt caused by Ralstonia solanacearum of Solanaceae plants such as tobacco are worldwide problems,the traditional chemical control,rational crop rotation,resistant varieties and other measures can not effectively control the disease.Bacteriophage for bacterial control had a long history,recently,the study on application of phage to control the wilt diseases caused by R.solanacearum was more and more regarded and reported.In this paper,the research progress about phage of R.solanacearum was reviewed and summarized,and the application of phages for biological control of bacterial wilt was prospected.
