Numerical Simulation of Coupled Water and Heat Transportation in Soil under Freezing Conditions

Taking the seasonal frozen soil in Shenyang City for an example,based on the mathematical model of coupled water and heat transfer under soil freezing conditions,the on-site soil freezing process is simulated by using central difference scheme and linear iteration solution method.Comparison of the instance results,it is proved that the parameters and mathematical model are successful to simulate the on-site soil freezing process.The migration law of moisture and temperature during soil freezing process is discussed,which lies the theoretical foundation for future research.
