摘要
Biological method of nanocomposite synthesis using plant extracts is suggested as possible ecofriendly choice to physical and chemical methods. Co precipitation followed by Calcination was used for the synthesis of CuO/MgO functional nanocomposite. EDTA and Momordica Charantia leaf extracts were used as the capping agents. The structures of the nanocomposites were analyzed using X-ray diffraction. Diffraction peaks of the nanocomposites reveals the well- crystalline characteristics indicating the mixture phase of CuO and MgO. The antioxidant behavior of synthesized CuO/MgO nanocomposites were evaluated by 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl hydrate (DPPH) assay. Green synthesized CuO/MgO nanocomposite showed efficient antioxidant activity. Optical activity of the samples were studied by analyzing UV-VIS spectra.
