Cytokinetics in diseases of epidermal hyperplasia

During recent years significant advances have been made in understanding the kinetics and the biochemistry of cell proliferation. Most of the pioneer work has involved the use of experimental animal tumors; it has only been in the past few years that suitable technics have been developed for human tissues to provide a valuable view of the pathophysiology and therapy of certain benign and malig­ nant skin disorders.
