摘要
Zinc triflate catalyzed efficient tandem cyclization for the synthesis of medicinally potential highly functionalized pyrrole derivatives have been described. The four components, arylamines, aldehydes, acetylacetone and nitromethane, were effectively cyclized in a single step with four different bonds (C-C and C-N). The readily available materials, high substrate scope, excellent functional group tolerance, mild conditions, scalability, excellent yields and purity are attractive features of this newly developed protocol.
